You've done so much growing this month! I can't believe you're sitting up by yourself (10/29), rolling from your back to your tummy (10/16) and eating solids (10/12). You respond to your name by turning to the person that said it. You're still friendly with everyone (you're such a show off!) but you're starting to get more attached to mommy. However, it doesn't matter how clingy you've been all day, you always love seeing and being held by your daddy when he comes home. You also do such a good job of picking things up with your hands. Your father loves to hang you over your pacifier or a toy and let you grab them. This past Sunday, you started interacting with the family sitting behind us by hanging on to the back of the pew, smiling, and gnawing on the wood.

*playing "Where's the Baby?" (we cover you and you pull the blanket/jacket/etc. off of your face, smiling!)

*hearing family on the phone
