Covey Center Art Show

Becca and I were able to go to the Covey Center for the Arts on Center Street in Provo on Wednesday to see a show called "Ninety-Nine Most Beautiful Names" which you can read more about here. These are a few of the pieces.

What I like to call "the constellation piece" but is actually entitled "Humbler."

One of the faces on a piece called "Inspirer of Truth."

This piece is called "the Birth" and it's based on the Qur'an's telling of the Nativity story taking place in an oasis.

"God, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful." Such beautiful, beautiful language. I wish I could read it.

Art Show!

Last Thursday (March 11th) I was able to attend the Art Ed show, where Kellie had two pieces on display. Here she is (I cut out Charlie in the picture, not with digital cropping) in front of her photograph (which I think is stunning). It was nice to see her and Mo in person (you, too, Ken and Charlie) and just chill for a while.

Also, to eat, like, half a dozen of those miniature double chocolate chip muffin-shaped brownies with strawberry slices on top. Mmmm . . .
