What the?

We've hit a weird point in Azucena's growth--lots of exhibitionism and also lots of things up the nose (I keep crossing my fingers that nothing will get stuck up there, but we'll see). The first set is while eating breakfast, the second, while watching "Little Einsteins."

BYU is an odd sort of place

In case you've been under a rock while living in Happy Valley (or you don't know anyone that follows BYU Basketball) here are some things you've missed this week:

Video

The magic word.

Another video.

And a BYU news article.

And the cherry on top: at last night's Divine Comedy showing, the opening prayer (nearly*) ended with "and we thank Thee for Jimmer."

::sigh:: Only at BYU. Some people are funny. :)

*and by nearly, I mean they ended the prayer appropriately, this is just the last thing that was said before closing.

Face!

I have no idea why he made this face. I do (vaguely) recall trying to make the same face and not being able to double it. I now challenge you to try. :D

Odd duck

I love movies and books. Truly. But sometimes I'd rather have the backstory than anything else. I love watching commentaries or extra features and those are actually usually the reason I'll buy the special edition of something. For example, I'm slowing acquiring all the Harry Potter movies all over again just so I can own the seven-part documentary series that they're including in the Ultimate Editions.

Sometimes it's more fun to know how something is made, don't you think?

It's been a while

I'm starting to get mysterious bruises again. And I'm not quite sure how they got where they are . . .

Red, yellow, green, red, blue, blue, blue!

For those of you who keep track of my weird, random quirks, here's another one:

I eat M&Ms in pairs. Well, I eat a lot of things in pairs or halves. But M&Ms, in particular, get eaten in colored pairs. It's like Noah's ark, sort of, in that I eat two reds, two blues, etc. I just pour them into my hand and start matching up colors. I have yet to finish a bag based solely on my weird eating habits.

HOWEVER

Today, something even more awesome happened. I got to the bottom of the bag and poured out . . .

Well, I guess you won't know, since Blogger won't upload my picture. I'll update later. Not immediately, since I'll be at HARRY POTTER tonight! :D

Edit: Here is what came out of the bag at the very end!

Sesqui-post. Also, Mulder is cool

Once upon a time, there was an apartment of lovely girls. These girls were pretty frawesome in that they were good people, had nice friends and tried to do the right thing.

Then, one day, one of the ladies of the house was awoken by her roommate saying an FBI investigative agent was at the front door. Curious (and a little groggy), the maiden arose and went to get the scoop.

I don't know how much I'm allowed to post on the Internet but I will say that having an ACTUAL FBI agent at your front door is both thrilling and terrifying. Also, having questions like "do you know if so-and-so is loyal to the United States Government?" thrown at you will definitely mess with the mind.

Trippy, I know. But, DANG. I've met with a real FBI agent!

(And, in honor or that, here is a picture of me outside the J. Edgar Hoover FBI building from my trip to DC a few years ago.)

So. . .are you married?

My brother just called me because my father got a call/message (I'm not sure which) asking for my husband. He wanted to know what was going on.
